Beauty

There is nothing more beautiful than a bride on her wedding day. The perfect dress, hair, shoes and make-up, make for the perfect wedding photoshoot. But… and it’s a big but… you’ve go to make sure you select the right Birmingham Wedding Photographer.

The point of hiring a wedding photographer is to ensure that your beautifiul day and the events that unfold are captured in a format and style that enables you to look back on them with nothing but fond memories. Hire the wrong photographer…and trust us you will not want to reach for the album, if you do it won’t be tears of joy!

The problem with wedding photographers is that there are far too many of them claiming to be experts in their field. The truth is, many are not experts, in fact they are often hobbyists who have purchased a digital camera. The digital camera revolution and abolishment of film (and it associated developing costs) means anyone can now take a picture, look through the viewfinder and click away. A quick glance at the rear screen and bam…they are now a wedding photographer!

A true expert really does know all the tricks of the trade, barely checks the back of the camera because they are confident in their skills, and have the expertise to know that they have got it spot on.

So how do you go about hiring a good photographer? Here’s two great tips:

1) First of all do you like their style. This may seem an odd question, but there are many different styles and effects, so make sure you like their images.

2) Ask to inspect a full wedding album. Anyone can put together an album with lots of great shots from all different weddings, but how do their images look when it is one complete wedding.

By inspecting their album you also can be reassured that they own the hi res files and they are simply not images downloaded from other photographers websites. If they were to do this, the resolution would be poor and although they may look great on screen, when printed they would be pixelated and of poor quality.
